Hamza do be collecting titles like Pokémon
I think I’m gonna start using the phrase “Myself, I feel very safe.” all the time.
I was fine with the young love until poor snoopy got caught in the crossfire 😭
“I’ve had a rough year dad” That line just hits so hard!
What the fuck is this movie?? I mean I still enjoyed watching the movie but I had absolutely zero clue what was happening. Wes was wesing too much in this. It’s kind of a good thing and a bad thing for me.
“How can a train be lost? It’s on rails” I couldn’t help but laugh when I heard that. I’m sorry that’s the most Indian statement I’ve ever heard. I truly appreciate that this movie makes an effort to depict poverty and the third-world section in a genuinely beautiful way. There’s a real effort to showcase the beauty in the hustle and bustle of the country. Unlike every other Hollywood movie that portrays poverty and third-world conditions as dirty and disgusting, this film does the opposite. This has been my biggest complaint when watching a movie set in India. I wish I could get high by chugging down Indian cough syrups. I’m also pretty annoyed that Natalie Portman was barely in the movie 😡
How hard is it for a horny man who got blue balled multiple times in a night to JUST. GET. HOME.?? Apparently, quite hard.
This movie absolutely slaps! There’s some exceptional character work here, and some of it even breathes new life into the entire film. While I can point out a few flaws if I consider it a sequel, I don’t think it’s fair to do so. This was always meant to be a single movie, and since no distributor would take on a seven-hour film in theatres, they split it into two. I was skeptical about the runtime, but wow! It was a breeze. Every scene added something to the characters or the story, and I never questioned the length. The Dhurandhar saga is genuinely one of the best Indian films to date. I want to go back and watch it so much! This movie has the best use case for the Rasputin song ever!
Absolutely bonkers!. The editing and cinematography choices could've looked so stupid but they're stylish and sublime beyond belief.
The most unrealistic thing in the whole is the train itself. Brother, Indian Trains are not that clean. Especially, the toilets. Anyway, this is by far the best action movie India has, it’s not a very high bar but still you can see that they actually fucking tried. The camerawork is exceptional here, you can SEE the fight and choreography. The framing is also so well done that you feel the claustrophobic effect the train could have. The Title Card goes so HARD tho!
Now we know which brother got the sauce. Excited to see what Josh Safdie does next.
One of the rare occasions where shooting rain on 4k but everything else on 480p is the right choice. I enjoyed the heck out of the movie. Not very scary but it's very good thriller.
Everyone says that this is Tom Cruise’s best performance and I agree. And everyone uses the scene where he talks to his father as an example. For me, it’s the interview scene. The subtle changes in the mannerisms and the way his dialogue delivery changes throughout the scene is just impeccable!
This is one of the prime examples of a mediocre script getting absolutely elevated by the acting of the cast and the direction. Like there’s 20 minute sequence of Leo just trying to get out of the city and to just get his fucking phone charged. It only works because of the excellent performances and the direction. It’s easily my favourite sequence in the movie. Sensei is such a fucking vibe man! I would love to hangout with that guy. Also, we got Leo vaping before GTA 6. Never in my life, had I thought I would see Leo vaping. Now, it’s time for me to get high and watch Battle of Algiers.
I enjoyed the heck out of the movie up until Frankenstein is made. Which is probably problematic for movie named “Frankenstein”. Before that, I was genuinely expecting this was gonna be the best movie of the year. Also, the way Victor turns into annoying dad so quickly was comedic and felt very out of place. I mean wouldn’t you think, a guy who spent all of his life to create life would be ecstatic and over the moon for more than a day. Seeing the production design and cinematography of this movie makes me wish even more to see a Hobbit movie directed by Guillermo was a real thing. Also, this is the same guy from Euphoria that I fucking HATE?!!! WOW!!
You know what? Fuck it. I enjoyed it. Yes, it is slow in the first half. Yes, the movie feels dated but I don’t care because It was an entertaining movie. I don’t think it’s trying to be anything more than that. Also, I am a sucker for Damon and Affleck as a duo. If they are doing a movie together, you bet your ass I am watching it. A massive props to Ben Affleck and Matt Damon for pushing Netflix to increase pay for the production crew based on performance. . I hope they all get their bonuses! At least watch it for that reason alone.
Yes. I watched it again. This time, I wanted to look at an objective point of view instead of the regular entertainment point of view. And yes, the screenplay is so disjointed. There’s three plots running at the same time and the events of the story happen in just convoluted and messy way. The fight scene choreography is a little bit funny if you observe how it’s choreographed. And did that affect my enjoyment of this film? Fuck. No. I’m still laughing my ass off. Reciting every dialogue! Getting goosebumps and nerd tears whenever Mani Sharma’s score hits! Embracing every ounce of that Trivikram’s Dialouge and the Rythmn of dialogues! This movie is SOOOO GOOOD!!! I don’t know if I will ever watch a movie this impactful. I’m not joking when I say that this movie changed the way my brother speaks Telugu. He can’t help himself but add the word “Bhayya”. Every time he talks.
Mahesh Babu collaborated with Trivikram to create this character because he faced criticism for lacking comedic timing and being limited to action and serious roles. Remarkably, he crafted one of THE best characters in Telugu cinema. I mean every single dialogue! I MEAN. EVERY SINGLE DIALOUGE! This character, Alluri Sita Ramaraju says in this film is just either Comedic gold or an iconic line. Mahesh Babu’s performance to show people wrong is on absolute display here! Fuck it. I’m going back to watch it for the billionth time again!
Roofman’s Victims: “Oh yeah! He’s really nice guy and a very chill dude. Well mannered.” Law enforcement: “HE’S A PATHALOGICAL LIAR! HE’S ARMED AND DANGEROUS! HE’S SMART AND CUNNING!” Definitely recommended.
There’s two best things about this movie. First, the movie opening up with doggystyle. Second, Phillip Seymour Hoffman gets so angry that he turns red like a 90’s cartoon villain.
I mean it’s a good movie. It wasn’t as funny as everyone made it out be. I don’t know. Only some jokes landed but I get why everyone loves this movie.
“Nee audience 50 yellu untaaremo. Kaani ee cinema anthakanna ekkuva untundi.” (“Your audience might be 50,000. But this cinema will be worth more than that.”) This film really worked big time for me. The concept of two men who absolutely despise each other and a woman they both love caught in the middle is so intriguing. Absolutely spectacular performances all around. DQ absolutely kills it, this might be his best performance yet which is saying a lot. Since he does an excellent job every film he’s in. Bhagyashri Borse is also spectacular! The way she acts with her eyes is just so mesmerizing. Rana is also pretty great as comic relief cop; I wish I can see him in more movies.
Took a while for the set up to finish but once it started, it was very engaging. Josh O’ Conner knocked it out of the park and Daniel Craig as always is having the time of his life playing Blanc. Also excellent camerawork and cinematography at display here! Absolutely spectacular!! Keep ‘em coming Rian. I wouldn’t mind some other filmmaker to make the next movie. I just wanna see what else Rian can offer! Also, I really need Blanc saying “scooby dooby do” as a notification alert.
While Bollywood has milked the espionage genre for decades, Dhurandhar feels fresh because of the raw authenticity and restraint it brings. This is a three-and-a-half-hour magnum opus that builds its world patiently, allowing violence and politics to exist not as spectacle, but as modes of survival. The film never romanticizes brutality; instead, it crafts a wounded, monumental identity shaped by guilt, loss, betrayal, and sacrifice. You know the feeling when the film finishes its first scene, you just know you are in for an amazing experience? This was that. Beyond its scale and runtime, what truly stayed with me is how much history the film opens up—the kind most of us only know through scattered news headlines and half-told stories. The film is unmistakably political, and it’s obvious who gets blamed and who benefits. Yet its larger patriotic intent and emotional sincerity make it difficult to dismiss outright as propaganda. It works as a spy thriller that slowly pulls you into the internal world of Lyari—its politics, power structures, terrorism, and the way everything is deeply entangled from within. You come out feeling informed as much as emotionally shaken. One of the film’s greatest strengths is its world-building and lore. Dhar trusts the audience enough to never spoon-feed information. Alliances shift without warning, truths dissolve into lies, secrets turn into history, and the narrative frames every character with depth and moral ambiguity. The weight the film carries—the weight of the past, of being both victim and villain, of betrayal and sacrifice—feels both poetic and deeply traumatizing. Patriotism here isn’t expressed through slogans or speeches, but through silence, memory, and endurance. The 26/11 sequence is particularly devastating. When the screen turns red, it felt like a punch to the chest. Dhar’s decision to use the original phone call recordings between the terrorists and their handlers is bold and deeply unsettling. Patriotism here emerges not from flags, but from pain and the quiet rage of knowing this actually happened. The performances elevate the film tremendously. Ranveer Singh as Hamza is fully committed, embodying a man crushed by guilt yet driven by purpose. His restraint, patience, and simmering intensity anchor the narrative. Akshaye Khanna, however, is on another level entirely. this man carries so much aura in every frame he is in. I see now why my Dad absolutely LOVES this actor. As Rehman Dakait, he delivers the film’s most haunting performance—his eyes heavy with sorrow, his silence louder than words. Every close-up feels deliberate, his calmness masking something deeply monstrous. Madhavan is excellent whenever he appears, commanding attention with minimal effort, I’m looking forward to see more of him in the next film. Arjun Rampal, despite limited screen time, effectively conveys pure brutality, I immediately HATED this man. Sanjay Dutt’s SP Choudhary Aslam has a strong screen presence, but the performance feels familiar—more Sanjay Dutt than Aslam—with makeup and costuming that never quite settle into the world. Technically, the film is impressive. The action feels raw and grounded, never stylized for glamour. Violence feels inevitable rather than indulgent. There was so much Gore that I was actually wondering did the censor board for Indian film fell asleep while reviewing. They are known for demanding blurring or outright cutting out scenes that are too gory. Like there was a scene where they literally boil a dude, drag another dude across the street tied to a motorcycle and split another dude’s head completely open with a weight. Boy! I’m so glad it wasn’t the case for this. If there was any film that needed no censorship, it is this. The gut wrenching violence felt necessary in order to feel the emotions the film asks us to. Shashwat Sachdev’s music is a standout—the score, retro tracks, and remixes are placed with precision. The score genuinely felt so refreshing! The sound design and mixing are excellent; every gunshot, every beat lands with clarity and weight. Dhar’s use of silence and minimal dialogue adds to the film’s seriousness and credibility. As much as I am simping for this film. It is not without its faults. Mainly, the romance arc. It felt so unnecessary and overextended but they still managed to tie it around in a pretty big way to the main story. So, I’m not that annoyed at that. Overall, this is a spectacular film. I recommend everyone to watch it. I will fucking riot when it comes on Netflix, if they censor it somehow. I swear to fucking god!
I genuinely enjoyed this movie. It is absolutely gorgeous to look at. It made me feel all the emotions it asked me to. But my god, I would be lying if I didn’t say that I didn’t feel the film dragging. Will I still watch the next one? You bet your ass!
I knew it was a good movie, but I was genuinely pleasantly surprised by how well it was going.
Remember when I said the last Batman movie had so much sauce? I was wrong, this one has SOO MUCH SAUCE! I know this is like my third Batman movie. What can I do? I am playing Arkham City and it’s making me crave for more Batman content.
Jason Todd: Is that what you think this is about? You letting me die? I don't know what clouds your judgement worse, your guilt or your antiquated sense of morality. Bruce, I forgive you for not saving me. But why, why on God's earth... [smashes closet door open, holding Joker] Jason Todd: ...is he still alive? Ignoring what he's done in the past. Blindly, stupidly disregarding the entire graveyards he's filled, the thousands who have suffered, the friends he's crippled. You know, I thought... I thought I'd be the last person you'd ever let him hurt. If it had been you that he beat to a bloody pulp, if he had taken you from this world, I would've done nothing but search the planet for this pathetic pile of evil, death-worshiping garbage and then send him off to hell! Holy shit! This movie has so much sauce!!
Bro! What the fuck is this movie 😭
If I were to judge this movie solely based on the serious pov, it would likely be considered mediocre. However, it surpasses that expectation due to the sheer enjoyment it provided. The writing is unremarkable, a generic thriller riddled with plot holes. What elevates this film is the director’s vision, the acting, and the score. These elements transform the otherwise dull script into a playful and entertaining movie perfect for a lazy night in.
Denzel spends half the movie drinking tea and speaking Italian. The narrative is very dry, I wish I got more action. And yet, I will still watch, if there’s more sequels being made.
My depression will also be cured if Florence Pugh hugs me and says “It’s ok”.
Cinema bane undhi kada ra?? I don’t know man. I saw reviews and I was expecting an abysmal movie, especially in the second half. But to my shock, it genuinely was a pretty good movie. I enjoyed every minute of it. Maybe because my expectations were very low? Or maybe because I watched in the comfort of my home? I just don’t know. VD did a genuinely a great job, been waiting to see a good performance from him since Dear Comrade, very happy. I’m so happy to see one of my fav actors, Satyadev get such a big spotlight. Frankly, he really made the movie. The writing is actually pretty good here. There is a solid foundation with the world building and characterizations here. Every character had a motivation that made sense to the world they grew up in. The action sequences were made quite skillfully. Thankfully, the editing was being mature and made the action breathe which is quite rare. Cinematography is beautiful here, there are so many frames in this movie that I want to use as wallpaper. Although, I wish there was more of the gold colour palette like in the teaser. The direction is perfect here! Gowtham knew exactly what he wanted and stuck to his ideas. He successfully made a world so gritty, grounded and intense. I’m quite looking forward for the sequel. Look, I’m just as annoyed with unnecessary sequels as the next guy (Looking at you pushpa). But in this story, it makes sense. Shit has just started and there is so much go on from here. From the investigation pov, the cartel pov and the divi pov. There is still so much to unpack here. So, I still think it is necessary, I just hope that he really doesn’t fumble. Also, Anirudh killed it like always. The main problem this movie has is the censor. I swear to god man, Indian censor boards are so fucking stupid. What is wrong with showing a man’s legs covered in blood? Why you gotta blur that out? What is so wrong with a wide shot of a huge pit with a pool of blood and dead bodies in it? I know, it’s not just the Censor Board problem, it is also producers who choose to put the movie to release in U/A (PG-13) to maximize profits, which leads them to compromises. Even if the the movie has been rated A (R) , I’m sure censor board would find something stupid to censor.
Very happy to see Aamir Khan back but dude’s gonna back to making original movies. Instead of adaptations, not that these are bad but the he really shines in the originals. Good movie tho! It is a pretty fail proof script. Very happy to see one of my childhood crushes, Genelia! She is gorgeous!
Completely shocked to see Tom Cruise run in this but more than happy to see it!
It’s pretty good whodunit thriller with some rocky parts but that climax is what saves it all.
“I cherish the memories of my grandson who asked, grandpa were you a hero during the war. And grandpa said no, I served in a company of heroes.” The decision to end this magnificent show with that quote is fucking genius! It hit me so hard in the gut that it made me tear up.
FUCK YES!! Been waiting so long to see proper superman adaptation! I'm so happy and looking forward for this new DC universe. Great Start!
"Okay, here we go. Focus. Speed. I am speed. One winner, forty-two losers. I eat losers for breakfast. Breakfast? Maybe I should have had breakfast? Brekkie could be good for me. No, no, no, focus. Speed. Faster than fast, quicker than quick. I am Lightning."
I don’t know man I really didn’t vibe with it. I enjoyed the mind fuckery and David lynchy shit that was happening in the movie. Except that, didn’t really give a shit for anything else. I really wanted to like it. Spectacular score tho!
What a fucking cool as fuck movie man! It took little bit of time to set up the continuity in the world and the motivations of the character. But once it does, the pacing gets cranked up to absolute maximum speed. Not a single minute gets wasted. One fear I had before going to the movie was that they’d run out of unique ideas for the kills or the weapons. I’m so glad that is not the case. The grenade sequence to the ice skating sequence to the flamethrower sequence. All of them were fucking awesome! Ana De Armas is soo fucking fine!! As if she doing gun-fu isn’t enough of a heartthrob! She goes against an entire village. She has done an impeccable job with everything here. I am definitely looking forward for more. Very glad to see Keanu back as Wick. You can really what see what makes him the boogeyman when he goes against Ana. I’m very glad to see another one of my favourite action franchise is going strong. Keep going! Never stop! With that I will leave with a famous last words this movie had: Hitman 1: “We are so fucked! It’s fucking John Wick!!” Hitman 2: “Come on! It’s just one man.” ***Gets fucking killed in a blink of an eye.***
Absolute banger. Man that IMAX aspect ratio looks so fucking gorgeous in my big ass tv. It’s at these moments where I can see the worth of all that money I put in.
**Insert Brad Pitt Screaming “WHATS IN THE FUCKING BOX?!” GIF.**
Saw the trailer for this movie when I was in theatres for watch MI: Final Reckoning. It was such a good cut that I immediately went to Letterboxd and added to my watchlist. I’m so glad that I did! This movie absolutely bangs! It is so suspenseful and tense! I really do suggest people to give it a watch.
Charlie: Why do nice people choose the wrong people to date? Bill: Are we talking about anyone specific? [Charlie nods] Bill: Well, we accept the love we think we deserve. Charlie: Can we make them know that they deserve more? Bill: We can try. Fuck dude! That hit me so hard, I don’t know why. My god I wasn’t ready for this movie. P.S. I wish Paul Rudd was my English teacher.
Wow! Did not expect this to be such an absolute banger! Right from the get go, the tension is tuned up to max and doesn’t let go except for the short flashback scene, and brings back the tension again once the flashback ends. Always a treat to Vikram to be back in his element. Absolute beast of an actor! The 16 minute one take was beautiful to watch. Like I said, the only reason this film doesn’t get a five stars is because of that small flashback in the second half. Except that, movie is an absolute banger! Very excited for Part 1.

My God, this series is giving me such a difficult time, man. I love the concept—each film set in a different state, focusing on a unique homicide detective or officer, and then all of them coming together in a final film to solve one massive case. It’s an amazing idea, and I respect the ambition. The first film? Fantastic. It had a focused screenplay, brilliant character work, and immersive world-building. The second one? It absolutely sucked balls. The screenplay acted like it was smarter than it actually was, and the whole thing just fell flat. This third entry? Mixed feelings, honestly. I’m really glad they finally figured out the tone and mood for this universe. I hope they stick with it moving forward, because it works. I genuinely appreciate the time and patience the film takes in the second half to justify its intense, borderline-ridiculous violence. And I’m still enjoying the strong characterization across the series—each main character brings something distinct to the table. And my god, Nani saves this film from collapsing. Dude carries the whole movie on his back. There are shots and camerawork here that genuinely surprised me—some really well-executed long takes that show a surprising amount of craft. The action choreography, especially that massive set piece near the end? Fucking amazing. Once again, it’s Nani and the camera doing most of the heavy lifting. Never thought Nani had it in him to pull off such intense, continuous action scenes—but damn, was I proven wrong. That shot of him in the blood-soaked white tux, splitting a guy in half? Chef’s kiss. Now for the shit I need to rant about: Sailesh needs to learn how to write a structured script. The film is riddled with flashbacks inside flashbacks. Bro, that’s like screenwriting 101—you don’t do that. I’m not trying to be that “I could write this better” guy, but come on. The writing just needs more attention to structure. The first film nailed it—why not follow that lead? Also, cut the damn songs. Not one track from this series is in my library. They don’t fit the tone or the kind of story this world is trying to tell. It feels forced and unnecessary. Which brings me to editing—why the fuck would you cut up a perfectly good long take into a bunch of chopped-up bits? You can tell the scene was shot continuously, but then they ruin it in post with all the unnecessary cuts. It doesn’t add anything—it just undermines all the hard work that went into planning and executing that shot. That’s all I can think of for now. Nani, keep going. I love you in everything you do. Thanks for elevating Telugu cinema and genuinely supporting indie filmmakers. I’ll keep watching this series because I do believe in its potential. This film was absolutely a step in the right direction after that abysmal second installment.
Absolutely amazing in visual storytelling. But this movie really needed two things. First, something time cards man! This movie jumps time like it’s a fucking Chris Nolan film and really have to figure it out on your own. Second, The movie really needed to show how the people were suffering because of the decisions made by the royalty. It really would’ve made the film and the character have more impact.
I don't understand the bad reviews. Yes, the story is a little bit weak when you compare it to Fallout. But I knew when I first watched it, they are never going to top that. Fallout is just too perfect. The action scenes are fucking amazing, like what it promised. I saw reviews where people were complaining that it goes way too far. I don't see it. There's two big action set pieces, the underwater sequence and the plane sequence. The film did a great job into making it more grounded and believable. This still is and always will be my favourite action franchise.
